Eudaimonia is a big word that basically means living a life you can be proud of. It’s not just about having fun or feeling good all the time. It’s about growing into the kind of person you respect, making choices that match your values, and working toward things that actually matter to you. Sometimes that means doing hard or uncomfortable things, but in the long run, it leads to a deeper kind of happiness that comes from knowing you’re becoming your best self.
Over fifteen years ago I was diagnosed with combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder. I struggled in silence until I began studying psychology, earning advanced degrees specializing in trauma and resilience. Through that work, I learned to understand my body and directly engage with what I was experiencing.
That path led me into the wilderness and into the cold waters of the Sequoia National Forest. Cold exposure became my refuge and ultimately led me to the Wim Hof Method. It didn’t just help me cope. It changed how I live.
Since then, I’ve worked with recovery groups, veterans, and incarcerated populations, and I’ve tested myself in extreme environments, including a 21-day Naked and Afraid survival challenge. I later trained at the Wim Hof Method Center in France under Leandre Omeir and Stacha Balmat, whose depth of knowledge and precision in teaching set a high standard for my own practice.
If you’re ready to step into that path for yourself, I invite you to join me. The breath, the cold, and the commitment to show up are simple, but they’re not easy, and that’s the point. This work isn’t about quick fixes or chasing comfort. It’s about building resilience, reconnecting with your body, and becoming someone you’re proud of, one deliberate step at a time. If you’re willing to lean into the challenge, I’ll guide you through it.
This is your standing invitation to reach out.
