In 2022, I traveled to Poland to complete my Wim Hof Method Instructor Certification through the Wim Hof Method Academy.  Since then, I’ve spent the last 4 years coaching breath-work classes and leading Wim Hof Method Fundamentals Workshops for people from all different backgrounds and experience levels.

Teaching consistently has become one of the most valuable parts of my journey.  I continue to refine my coaching style, workshop structure, and ability to help people achieve meaningful results from the method.  I focus on creating an environment where people feel supported while also discovering how much they are truly capable of.

Training your mind and body to perform is one way I describe the Wim Hof Method.  Performing at a high level, learning to push your mind and body to new limits is a big part of the method.  But more important to me is the healing and recovery the Wim Hof Method has been proven to provide.

My workshops focus on the healing and recovery aspect of the method.  Of course the better you heal and faster you recover, the better you will perform.  You can find numerous testimonials and more and more scientific research that supports the many benefits of this method both physically and mentally.  Much can be found right on this website.

In my workshops the primary focus is on healing from PAIN:

Physical pain:  concussions, broken bones, stitches, back pain, arthritis, autoimmune disease.  

Mental pain:  Healing from trauma and mental pain we encounter personally or through loved ones such as depression, addiction, ADHD, bipolar, suicide, cancer, death of loved ones.  

My connection to this work is deeply personal.

At the end of high school in 1992, I was involved in a near death motorcycle accident.  I spent over a month in the hospital after suffering extensive injuries throughout my body — broken ribs, broken wrist, a shattered left leg below the knee, broken jaw in two places, and short-term memory loss. I lost over 30 pounds and nearly 20% of all the muscle in my body.

Before the accident, I felt strong, confident, and unstoppable.  Afterward, life became a decades-long battle with chronic pain, physical limitations, depression, and the emotional weight that comes from trying to rebuild yourself after trauma.  For more than half of my life, I searched for ways to heal.  I tried physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, biofeedback, yoga, personal training, and numerous other therapies — always looking for something that could truly help me feel whole again.

Discovering the Wim Hof Method was a turning point.

The breath-work and cold exposure helped me reconnect with my body in a way I hadn’t experienced in years.  It gave me tools to better manage pain, reduce stress, improve resilience, and regain a sense of strength — both physically and mentally.  More importantly, it helped me rediscover belief in myself.

That experience is what drives my passion for teaching today.

I don’t just teach the Wim Hof Method from certification alone — I teach it from years of personal practice, years of coaching others, and years of seeing firsthand how powerful these tools can be in people’s lives.
